Tradesman Scholarship

As mentioned on our Our Story page, our dad was an avid tradesman, he worked construction building houses, bridges and roads. He graduated from Pike Lincoln Technical Center with his certificate in Auto Mechanics & Auto Collision. He had a passion for working with his hands. After PLTC he went straight to the work force and was dedicated to the work he did.

After his passing, we decided to create a Scholarship in his name that would help PLTC trade students with their post-graduation needs; whether that be with continuing education and helping pay tuition or going straight to the workforce and helping pay for steel-toe boots, tools, etc.

Since our dad’s nickname was Weiner since he was in school, we chose to name it the Weiner Tradesman Scholarship. Each year this scholarship will give $500 to the student chosen. We hope to be able to continue this as long as we possibly can. You will find us doing fundraisers, most likely around his birthday each year in July to help raise funds needed to keep giving this scholarship every year!

Congrats to Colin Martin for winning our first ever scholarship! He has attended diesel mechanics and is planning to continue his education in the auto body field! We are so excited to be able to help him on his journey! – May 2022
